Basic Curry Rice is one of the most favored of recent trending foods on earth. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. It’s easy, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. Basic Curry Rice is something which I have loved my whole life. They’re nice and they look wonderful.

This is a very EASY way to make curry rice. Add the onion and saute until soft and translucent. Stir in the rice then pour in the water/stock and season with salt. Cook rice as directed on package and stir in remaining ingredients with the water.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can cook basic curry rice using 8 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Basic Curry Rice:
  1. Take 1 tablespoon Oil
  2. Prepare 400-500 g Beef, or Pork or Chicken
  3. Take 1-2 Onions
  4. Prepare 1-2 Potatoes
  5. Get 1 Carrots
  6. Get 550 ml Water *OR follow the instruction on the Curry Roux box
  7. Get 90-100 g Curry Roux
  8. Get 4 Servings Freshly Cooked Rice

Stir in the curry powder, turmeric, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and egg. For perfect curry rice, nothing beats the flavor of a high quality yellow curry powder and some fresh curry leaves. While optional, frying the curry leaves in ghee both infuses the ghee with a mild. Sprinkle the beef with salt and freshly ground black pepper and then toss with the flour.

Steps to make Basic Curry Rice:
  1. Cut the vegetables and meat. Oil a heated large saucepan or pot, cook meat, then add the vegetables and mix together. - *Note: I like to add a bit of grated Garlic & Ginger when I first stir fry the meat as it adds a nice flavour.
  2. Add water and cook on medium heat until vegetables are tender.
  3. Add Curry Raux blocks and simmer on a low heat. Add extra Water if too thick. The longer you simmer, the richer the flavour.
  4. Serve on a plate with freshly cooked rice.

While optional, frying the curry leaves in ghee both infuses the ghee with a mild. Sprinkle the beef with salt and freshly ground black pepper and then toss with the flour. Heat the vegetable oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot, brown the beef, turning to brown all sides. Add the hot water to the pan and bring to a boil.
