  5. Drain and keep the gooseberry on a plate
  6. Take a deep pan, add sugar and on top keep the gooseberry and stir slowly in medium flame
  7. Add 1/2 cup of water and cook until one string consistency
  8. Add cardamon powder and let it cool completely.
  9. Once cool cover with lid and keep for 3 days
  10. Then store it in a glass jar and have two fruits daily and stay healthy

Amlas are the richest known source of Vitamin C. Amlas are abundantly available during the winter months. I actually buy a large quantity of this fruit each year to make amla ka murraba.
