Instructions to make Barley khichdi:
  1. Soak barley in 3 times water (at night or fr 5-6 hrs).
  2. For cooking I took a pressure cooker - Added ghee 1 tbsp - Added whole zeera to it - Add chopped carrots and fry for some time.
  3. Now add peas and corn(frozen but washed with warm water) - Stir for 3-4 minutes. - Add salt and black pepper and stir.
  4. Add barley (strained) stir everything again - Added hot water 2.5 cups and close the lid of cooker.
  5. Keep on low flame for 15 minutes minimum.
  6. Enjoy with curd with blk salt & bhuna zeera powder
