Hey everyone, it’s Louise, welcome to my recipe page. Today, I’m gonna show you how to make a special dish, idli disc. It is one of my favorites. This time, I am going to make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Idli Disc is one of the most popular of recent trending foods on earth. It’s easy, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. They are nice and they look fantastic. Idli Disc is something that I have loved my entire life.

To begin with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can have idli disc using 20 ingredients and 12 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Idli Disc:
  1. Take For Idli batter –
  2. Make ready Semolina
  3. Prepare curd
  4. Make ready salt
  5. Take fruit salt/Eno
  6. Prepare ginger green chilli paste
  7. Make ready For For Tadka -
  8. Get oil
  9. Prepare mustard seeds
  10. Take curry leaves
  11. Take sesame seeds
  12. Make ready turmeric powder
  13. Make ready For For Stuffing-
  14. Get boiled and mashed potato
  15. Get Red chilli powder
  16. Take ginger green chilli paste
  17. Take garam masala
  18. Prepare Fresh coriander chopped
  19. Get salt
  20. Prepare lemon juice
Steps to make Idli Disc:
  1. Take idli batter ingredients in a bowl except eno and mix well. keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  2. In another bowl take stuffing material in a bowl and mashed potatoes add ginger and green chilli paste, garam masala, coriander, slat and lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients well.
  3. When the mixture is ready start shape into roll.
  4. Now heat up the idli steamer by adding little water, and place a stand at the bottom. Grease the glass.
  5. Now add fruit salt into the idli batter with little batter to form a reaction. Mix well the batter.
  6. Pour just a spoon of idli batter and place aloo masala roll in the center and pour a spoon full of batter over it.
  7. Carefully place this glass(or glasses) in the steamer over the stand and close the lid.
  8. Keep the flame to low and let it steam for 15-18 minutes. Switch off the flame and take it out when it’s slightly cooled down.
  9. Run a sharp knife around the edges of glass to take idli disc out and keep them in a plate.
  10. Now prepare seasoning. Heat little oil in a pan add mustard seeds, curry leaves, sesame seeds and when they crackle add turmeric powder and red chilli powder, salt.
  11. Let the rolls smear in that nicely and evenly.
  12. Take them out and cut into the discs and serve hot with favorite chutney. Enjoy it.
