Take For stuffing
Prepare 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
Make ready 1/2 cupMawa/khova

Take 15,20 Cloves one for each lavang latika
Prepare 2 cup All-purpose flour

Take For sugar syrup:
Get 1 cup Sugar
Get 2,3 cardamom
Make ready As needed Water
Take As needed Ghee or Vegetable oil for deep frying
Steps to make Lavang latika:
For stuffing. In a pan Add the cardamom powder and other ingredients and khova and rost it lightly. Set aside..
Now to make the outer case in a bowl take all-purpose flour and Then add oil mix well.Now add little water at a time and knead the flour to get a smooth dough. Set it aside.
Make a syrup by heating up sugar and water until all the sugar melts and you get a thick sugar syrup.
Now start making the lavang latika. Make small balls.Roll it out to make a flat circle. Place about one tablespoon full of khova stuffing at the center of the circle.
Now fold each of the four sides of the circle – left, right, top & bottom – towards the stuffing enclosing it inside the dough. Seal the final fold by inserting a clove. Set it aside and make all the lavang latikas similarly.
Heat enough oil in a heavy bottomed pan to deep fry the lavang latika. When the oil is hot, reduce the heat to medium-low and fry the lavang latika until golden brown. Take them out and place on a paper towel
Once the lavang latika cool down a bit, dip them in the sugar syrup and let it stand for few seconds. and take them out. - The flavorful lavang latika are ready to serve!
