The ingredients needed to make Rasabali:
Make ready 1 cup cottage cheese/ paneer
Get 1 tbsp wheat flour/ atta
Make ready 1 tsp semolina/ suji
Get 1 tsp powdered sugar
Prepare 1 tsp cardamom powder
Take 1/4 cup sugar
Prepare 500 ml full creame milk
Prepare strands Saffron
Prepare Handful dry fruits like cashews, pista, almonds
Make ready As needed Refined oil for frying
Instructions to make Rasabali:
In a mixing bowl add cottage cheese,wheat flour, 1/2 tsp cardamom powder, 1tsp powdered sugar & mix them well.
Knead it thoroughly to a smooth & soft mixture.Then divide the mixture into equal portions & shape each into flatten tikkis.
Heat a heavy bottom pan, add the milk & bring it to a boil by stirring frequently.
Add sugar, saffron,cardamom powder & boil the milk in low flame till it reduce to half.
Heat refined oil in a kadai & deepfry all the tikkis till they turn to golden brown.
Then remove the fried rasabali from the oil & drop them one by one to the hot milk.
Once all the tikkis are added,remove the milk from the flame.
Decorate with the dry fruits,spun sugar & tuile.
Serve the delicious rasabali chilled.
